Gingham + Scallops

Two trends that I am seeing everywhere this spring are gingham and scallops. I have to admit that I love both, so rather than choose between these two fabulous trends I decided to combine them into one office-friendly outfit for today's post! We have been getting typical spring weather lately here in Seattle, meaning chilly temperatures and pretty much nonstop rain with a teaser of sun here and there. As a result, Seattle spring style often means layers and boots rather than bare arms and legs. In today's outfit, I started with this navy gingham button up shirt and red scalloped pencil skirt. Although both of these pieces are no longer available, I have linked to similar items further down in this post. A lightweight quilted vest and knee boots add the appropriate PNW layers, while my navy Prada tote and red lips complete the look. Please scroll through for more photos, links, and more of my picks for on-trend gingham and scalloped pieces to add to your closet this spring.
