Tulle Skirt + Fall Plaid

Over the last year or so, the tulle skirt became a huge hit with the style blogger community.  I happened to find this particular black tulle skirt on Poshmark for a steal ($20), and decided at that price a tulle skirt was worth a try.  What I did not expect was the overwhelmingly positive response when I wore this outfit to the office a couple of weeks ago!  Everywhere I went in the building that day, someone would stop me and pay a wonderful compliment that confirmed this outfit definitely needed to be blogged.  I was so grateful for the kind words from my colleagues, and days like that really help validate the time I spend blogging.  For my office attire, I paired this black tulle skirt with a super-soft grey plaid shirt, crystal statement necklace, wide belt, delicate peep toe pumps, and a bright mini bag.  A messy bun is my go-to look for the office, really because it keeps my hair out of my face when I'm running up and down the stairs from meeting to meeting.  I love the way this plaid shirt really makes this a fall outfit, and it's a good hybrid between dressy and casual that works for a number of occasions.
