I was one of those little girls who was always crazy about horses, and I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take care of and ride my neighbor's horses in middle school, high school, and into college until packed schedules and real jobs got in the way of my hobby.  The equestrian trend is near and dear to my heart, and I just can't resist accessories with an equestrian feel.   For today's outfit, I paired my Limited merino blend gold sweater and J Brand skinnies with my Vince Camuto knee-high boots, my new Lulu equestrian print scarf, and gold accessories including my adorable Cam & Zooey "loyal stallion" ring.

You may have seen this scarf in my post one week ago, The Mustard Mini, when I ordered it online because the flagship Nordy's downtown Seattle didn't have any in stock.  I was delighted when the box arrived on my doorstep on Friday, and this scarf is exactly what I expected.  I love the size - it's fairly large with plenty of fabric to wrap multiple ways.  The material is lightweight, not bulky, which is great for layering.  The print is a series of linked D-ring snaffle bits and buckled leather pieces, like parts of a bridle.  I love it and am very happy with this purchase!

  2. I love everything about this look. I rode some growing up, but never as much as I would have liked. The boots really make it :)
